About the Producer: Gospel House Handicrafts was established in 1977 with the aim of providing employment and training to boys from the poor areas of Colombo. They now work with nine, small-scale producer groups in different parts of Sri Lanka. Gospel House's production unit for toys at Madampe provides work for 35 young people and the producer groups employ over 65 people/families in total 115 producers, 80 of them women.
